a new group of students had the opportunity to experience working as electrical technicians! Derek Foote and volunteers from IBEW 305 led the Club members through a light installation activity. After learning how to use pliers and screwdrivers properly, they learned how to make a circuit by wiring an outlet and connecting it to a light switch. The kids were so excited to see their work come together at the end of the session when they got their light switches to work. A big thank you to Derek and all the volunteers who contributed to making this project successful and fun!
